Tomorrow marks 6 months in to the New Year (2015). Looking back on the past six-months, how would you say you've done on your New Year's Resolution? Did you take our challenge of saying "I resolve to take Steps to Better Health in 2015"? How many times have you sat down and made an action plan for the following week to improve your health? How many of those action plans have you achieved?
It's never too late to make a resolution, whether it's the first day of the year, halfway through the year, or the end of the year, we can all make changes for the better! Take some time over the next few days to write down an action plan for the next week. Make this week's action plan specific, and have confidence that you can complete the goal you set. Participants of the Stanford University self-management programs, will recognize the process for setting achievable goals or action plans. Some questions to ask yourself are: What specifically will you do? How much will you do? When will you do it? How often will you do it? How confident are you that you can achieve your set goal?
