On the third Thursday of August, Dr. Anne Winkler, MD will present a special workshop for those affected by lupus.
For those with lupus and their family and friends, knowing the best forms of treatment and how to manage symptoms is vital.
Over the course of Lupus 101: The Basics, Dr. Winkler will walk participants through an overview of lupus.
Following Dr. Winkler's session, the Lupus Foundation of America and Heartland will cover the chapter's programs and services and what you — as a patient, friend or caregiver — can do to take on lupus in your life.
